YOUTH GOLF TOURNAMENT In spring, Treasured Lands Foundation teamed with Martin County Parks and Recreation Department to stage a golf tournament to benefit the Robert F. Denison Endowment for Youth. Named after the parks department’s first director, the endowment makes an invaluable and oft-overlooked contribution to the future of our community. For the many families who can’t afford to send their children to summer camps or enroll them in safe, supervised recreational sports programs, the endowment picks up the tab. With the support of the tournament, local children in need are getting to enjoy the kind of summer that will enrich their memories—and character—for years to come. |
