Initial Public Unveiling At a fundraiser at Jupiter Island Club, Bill West, president, and Charles Barrowclough, executive director, unveiled the environmental ethos and aims of Treasured Lands Foundation to an intimate audience. In a generous show of support for the foundation’s conservation goals, Gables Residential donated $300,000 toward the efforts. Despite the size of the donation, applause reached its peak as Mr. Barrowclough announced the foundation’s progress in its efforts to obtain and preserve the East Coast Ridge—a 31-acre swath of unmolested scrubland that neighbors Hobe Sound National Refuge and is in close proximity to Jonathan Dickinson State Park. |
